Here at Huntington Baptist Church we seek to worship the Lord Jesus
Christ and follow faithfully His call:
* to spread the Good news of salvation to all people.
* to grow in faith and trust in God.
* to love each other as Jesus loves us.
*to give the Holy Spirit authority over all areas of our lives.
Our regular Sunday Worship Service begins at 11:00 AM, with Sunday
School for children and adults at 9:30 AM. (Worship begins at 10:00
AM and Sunday School does not meet during July and August.)
Child care is available for infants and toddlers during the service.
Here at HBC we recognize prayer as our "lifeline" to the Lord. We offer
the following weekly opportunities for prayer:
Everyone: Cottage Prayer Mtg. Wednesday 7:30 PM
(call church office for location)
Saturday Praise and Worship 6:00 PM
(on the last Saturday of the month)
Women: Bible Study/Prayer Tuesdays 9:30AM
Men: Prayer Group Wednesdays 9:30AM
Prayer Breakfast First Saturday of each month
Our children are a gift from God! Besides Sunday School, we also hold
Youth (ages 11-16) meetings at 7:30 PM on Friday nights. Special
activities are scheduled on a regular basis for all our young people ages
7 - 12.
For adults, we have choir, drama and fellowship events scheduled
throughout the year. Our "Almost Heaven" group holds regular social
and instructional activities for adults age 50 and over. We also have a
Book Club that meets monthly to read and discuss a wide variety of
literature.
